At the early age of eight years old, Roa’s life in the Dominican Republic was uprooted and transplanted to the small idyllic country, Liechtenstein. Along with having never spoken or learned a word of German, and dealing with a life-altering culture shock, he never felt the comfort of fitting in and belonging. The cultural, religious, and musical differences created a chasm as big as the Grand Canyon between himself and his schoolmates. As a result, he grew up without feeling comfortable in his surroundings but found comfort in dance, his first great love. As a dancer, Roa was successful as a solo dancer and in dance groups, both nationally and internationally. However, dancing alone could not fill the gap in his soul. To fill this void, he started writing lyrics to instrumentals, which he previously used for his unique dance choreographies. The longer he worked, the more sophisticated his style became. The combination of his hard work and talent began to pay off with opportunities touring with “The Game” and “6ix9ine,” among others. At this point, he was able to hone his skills and improve his quality of art, bringing it to an even higher level. In late-2021, Roa joined forces with a new production team, which again gave him the opportunity to flex his artistic muscles. In addition to his music, he found his way back to dance, combining his two passions in both music videos and concerts. Roa never lost hope and was always able to draw strength from his passions, even when he felt alone. With his gift of artistic talents, Roa now wants to give everyone who has ever experienced the feeling of being an outsider some support in their lives.
